A Little Spotlight on Perspective

Today I will be handling all of your problems. Please remember that I do not need your help.
If life happens to deliver a situation to you that you cannot handle, do not attempt to resolve it. Kindly put it in the SFGTD (Something For God To Do) box. It will be addressed in My Time, not yours. Once the matter is placed into the box, do not hold on to it.
If you find yourself stuck in traffic; don't despair, there are people in this world for whom driving is an unheard of privilege.
Should you have a bad day at work; think of the man who has been out of work for years.
Should you despair over a relationship gone badly wrong; think of the person who has never known what it's like to love and be loved in return.
Should you grieve the passing of another weekend; think of the woman in dire straits, working twelve hours a day, seven days a week to feed her children.
Should your car break down leaving you miles away from assistance; think of the paraplegic who would love the opportunity to take that walk.
Should you notice a new grey hair in the mirror; think of the cancer patient in chemo who wishes she had hair to examine.
Should you find yourself at a loss and pondering what life is all about, asking 'what is my purpose?'; be thankful as there are those who didn't live long enough to get the opportunity.
Should you find yourself the victim of other people's bitterness, ignorance, smallness or insecurities; remember, things can be worse - you could be them !!!!

A little spotlight on Perspective
One day a father of a very wealthy family took his son on a trip to the country with the firm purpose of showing his son how poor people live.
They spent a couple of days and nights on the farm of what would be considered a very poor family.
On their return from their trip, the father asked his son, "How was the trip?"
"It was great, Dad."
"Did you see how poor people live?" the father asked.
"Oh yeah," said the son.
"So, tell me, what did you learn from the trip?" asked the father.
The son answered: "I saw that we have one dog and they had four. We have a pool that reaches to the middle of our garden and they have a creek that has no end. We have imported lanterns in our garden and they have the stars at night. Our patio reaches to the front yard and they have the whole horizon. We have a small piece of land to live on and they have fields that go beyond our sight. We have servants who serve us, but they serve others. We buy our food, but they grow theirs. We have walls around our property to protect us, they have friends to protect them."
The boy's father was speechless.
Then his son added, "Thanks, Dad, for showing me how poor we are."
Isn't perspective a wonderful thing? Makes you wonder what would happen if we all gave thanks for everything we have, instead of worrying about what we don't have.
Appreciate every single thing you have, especially your friends! (sent to us by Eileen Taylor. Author unknown)

After listening with growing concern to news reports relating to the increasing tensions and threats of war - with more and more potentially devastating consequences - in a number of areas of the world, we decided to meditate and communicate with our Guides to ask if there is anything we can do to help.
Naturally, they care about peace on this planet as much as we do. We received the suggestion of a 'minute for peace' whereby spiritual groups and individuals could sit and ask for guidance for all world leaders to be helped to resolve contentious issues without the need to resort to force. This would apply all over the world where there is unrest and conflict.
The suggestion is that, in a similar manner to the healing minute already observed by many, a minute should be set aside once a week to focus our energies on this matter. It was suggested that 8.00 pm on Sunday evenings would be a good time to do this. It is not necessary for people to come together as a group specifically to do this; it can be done just as well in our own homes. The important thing is that we do it.
We have already begun to do this and hope that as many of you as possible will join us.

Jenny Jones says that we live in a world today where we are encouraged, or sometimes even forced, to consider ourselves separate from one another. And yet she believes we all come from the One Source. The paradox is that we become separate in a physical sense when we arrive on this planet but we are still all inextricably linked in every way. Healing means to make someone well or whole again. Spiritual healing requires no faith or belief as it is not related to any religion. Many people believe it is faith healing. But animals and children have no idea what faith is, or that they are receiving healing.Thousands of people have been given no hope by doctors and surgeons, and have been healed by spiritual healing. This is because healing works on the mind, body, and spirit.
My name is Ann Walker and I have been healing for as long as I can remember. This site has been dedicated to my Father, Mother and my very dear friend Christine who have pulled back the veil and entered the spirit world, but this only makes them a thought away. I hope you will enjoy visiting me.
